M U D
The warm and grounding identity, being able to find a home within yourself, but perhaps being trapped in that home.
The free and running anoymous, being in a place where there are no familiar and welcoming faces, yet having no constraints.
Mud opens this dichotomy between identity and anonymity while bringing people back to their simplest form. It is a push to find empowerment in either or both; it connects the path between the two. In this series, participants are photographed in their bare skin. Obliged to no one but themselves, they are given full control of how identified or anonymous they choose to be in their photographs.
